The band plays two concerts with the Cincinnati Pops featuring an Olympic theme. The CBB hosts the NABBA XX Championships in Sharonville at the Radisson Hotel and Princeton High School. The gala concert is given by the Brass Band of Battle Creek at the Tri-County Assembly of God. The CBB is invited to play at the Great American Brass Band Festival in Danville, KY, and also performs at the 7th Brass Band Festival in Ashland, KY. The band releases its first commercial CD, “Pressing Onward”. Other concerts include a benefit for Organ Donation with the Cincinnati Pops at Music Hall, Habitat for Humanity Benefit at the Church of the Saviour, a Salvation Army 9/11 Appreciation Concert with Sandi Patti at the Princeton Pike Church of God, Olympic Spirit concerts with the Cincinnati Pops at Music Hall, Fine Arts Showcase concert at College of Mt St Joseph, a joint concert with CCM Brass, a Seton High Concert, and community concerts in Terrace Park, Evendale, Blue Ash, Indian Hill, Sawyer Point and Urbana.
